A quad is the closest thing to a motorbike you can try on holiday without a licence. On the Alanya quad safari you ride your own ATV up into the pine-covered hills behind the coast, where loose gravel, muddy patches and shallow stream crossings keep every minute busy. You will finish dusty, probably splashed, and very likely grinning.
On the track
After pickup you reach the quad base and get a safety briefing from an instructor, who explains the throttle, brake and how to ride in a convoy. You put on a helmet and ride a short practice loop. When everyone is comfortable, the group follows the guide out onto the trails for roughly one and a half to two hours, with a stop to rest and take pictures. The speed is set by the slowest rider, so beginners are not left behind and nobody needs previous experience.
Single quad or two on one
Take a single quad if you want the machine to yourself, or a double quad if you would like to share: one of you rides, the other sits behind as a passenger, which works well for couples or for a parent with a child. The price is per quad, not per person. Drivers must be at least 16; younger children can come as passengers on a double quad with an adult. Both morning and afternoon departures run.
Getting ready
We pick guests up in Alanya, Mahmutlar, Kestel, Oba, Konakli, Turkler, Avsallar and Okurcalar, and tell you the exact time once you have booked. Bring clothes you are happy to ruin, closed shoes, sunglasses, a scarf for your face and a spare top. A bandana or goggles can be bought on site. Would you like a roll cage and a steering wheel instead? Then the buggy safari is for you, and the rafting, buggy and zipline combo fills a whole day.

Frequently asked questions
Is a licence required for the quad?
No. You only need to be 16 or older to drive, and everybody receives a full briefing before the ride starts.
Can a child ride with me?
On a double quad, a child can sit behind an adult driver as passenger. Please mention their age when you book.
What does single or double mean?
A single quad carries one rider. On a double quad two people share the machine, one driving and one riding behind. The price is for the quad either way.
Should I pick a quad or a buggy?
A quad feels like a motorbike and is the sportier choice. A buggy has a steering wheel, a seat belt and a roll cage, which many first-timers find more relaxed.
