Alanya Jeep Safari: Mountain Tracks, Village & River Swim

On the Alanya jeep safari you don’t drive – you hold on, look around and get dusty. Experienced local drivers take a convoy of 4×4 jeeps off the coast road and up into the Taurus Mountains, where pine forests, banana plantations and gravel tracks replace the sun loungers. It is the classic Alanya off-road day, and the easiest one to book: no licence, no experience, no preparation.

The route, stop by stop

Once everyone is on board, the jeeps leave the tarmac and climb along forest tracks. The first long pause is a viewpoint, with Alanya’s castle hill and the sea spread out far below. Next comes a traditional mountain village, a short look at everyday life far from the beach strip. You eat at a riverside restaurant on the Dim River (Dimçayı), and afterwards you have time to swim in the cold, clear water. The last stretch back down the mountain is the wet one: the drivers like to splash the jeeps next to them.

Who it suits

Families, couples and groups of friends all ride in the same convoy. Kids from 3 to 11 get the reduced child fare and toddlers under 3 ride free. The tracks are bumpy, so we advise against the day for pregnant women and for anyone with back problems. Want something quieter in the evening instead? Pickup and booking

Pickup is around 09:00 and we are back at your hotel at about 17:00; the exact time is confirmed after you book. We collect guests in Alanya, Mahmutlar, Kestel, Oba, Konakli, Turkler, Avsallar and Okurcalar. You pay in cash on the tour day, so booking is free of card details.
